The York and Penn Lodges:

Conveniently located in the Lake Region Area north and west of Devils Lake in North Dakota. The lodges are furnished and available for rent by the day or by the week. Pets are welcome.

The Communities:

York, North Dakota has a population of about 35 people. It has a gas station with basic commodities available. The nearest grocery store and hardware store are in the city of Leeds, 6 miles east of York on US Highway 2.

Penn, North Dakota has a population of about 45 people. The town is well known for its steak fries, on Friday nights, at the Buckhorn Saloon. The nearest gas station with hunting and fishing supplies is six miles west on Highway 2 at the Crossroads Service Station in Churchs Ferry.

The Hunting and Fishing:

Hunting and fishing in the Lake Region area is excellent throughout the year. Guides and outfitters are available for ice fishing, summer fishing, spring and fall goose hunting, duck hunting, deer, and moose hunting.
